Homework Paradise ([link]) is an application and network developed for students to "utilize a credits system to play the role of tutor and student at once, getting solutions for homework they believe is too tedious and providing solutions for other students."

long story short, when you're clever, you can make some money by lecturing others or helping with homeworks, when you're less clever, you can get help there.

idea of the logo is simple and straightforward: pencil for school, homework, wings for paradise, help, release. The basic color of printed applications, as letterheads, business cards etc. is specific shade of yellow, making the identity stand out, but related to school environment at the same time.

there are two versions of the logo: a single-color one, which is the main one for any corporate / business use, and colored one, which is more an illustration then a logo and it's main purpose is communication with a client (a student).

thanks, any decent vector editor will do. This was done in Corel DRAW 14. Adobe Illustrator would be a better choice, I'm just used to Corel. I'm using both though.

Thank you! I was hoping to make some sweet logos, but most of the programs ive attempted with are waaaaay too complicted as far as making a simple vector graphic...

well, for creating pro logos, Illustrator & Corel Draw are pretty much the only options. There's Inkscape, but I woudn't recomand it. Once you get used to work with a vector editor, you'll find out they're all basically the same. Corel Draw has few major issues with fonts, colors and professional-level pdf and print exports however, that's why I'd recommend Illustrator.

all I used for this is illustrator / corel draw (doesn't matter, any vector editor). I don't even have any tablet, since most of my work is based on geometry, not freehand. It may come handy, but still, geometrical constructions in vector editors are the core work on basically every logo.
